Annual Labor Day trip to Maryland & Delaware to visit Mike's parents, sister, brother-in-law, and niece. The weather is always perfect and the company is great. This year my parents joined in on the fun. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Evan started trying rice cereal this past week. He is loving it. Slowly learning how to open wide and to remember the spoon goes above the tongue.

So I had to post this one non-Evan photo. After months of agonizing over what grey to pick, I finally picked one and love it! 90% of our house was an off-white/biscuit, the current color of the trim. The front hall looks 500 times better with the grey on the walls. Makes the stain glass window really pop!

Relaxing at the pool. Can't wait for Evan to be old enough to play in the kiddie pool. Their development has some great features for little kids.

July/August 2015

JULY/AUGUST 2015

Life has kept us busy the last two months. Trying to juggle working and keeping Evan entertained leaves little time to upload pictures. So here is a big group from the last month or so. I can't believe summer is almost over. I'm excited for the cooler weather, but also sad that its over. I thought time flew before, but since Evan it has gone even faster. On this calm Saturday as he sleeps peacefully in the swing, I can't help but get teary eyed thinking of the great summer childhood memories I have, and the ones I hope to make with Evan in the future. I can only hope he has a great of memories when he gets older.

July 19th - practicing sitting up

July 21st - getting a little better and loving it!

August 2nd - White Rock Lake

August 3rd - This is how we cook. Evan "manages" the prep.

August 4th - Evan is starting to take interest in his first teddy bear. They aren't best buddies yet, we often find him on the floor a few feet away from the swing.

August 4th

August 8th - This Party Animal partied too hard. (his shirt says party animal!)

August 8th - Evan's buddy Gray from daycare came to visit

August 14th - Evan "Superman" Kuta

August 20th - First taste of bbq sauce

August 28th - trying out the highchair for the first time. He isn't eating solids yet, but Mike and I got sick of holding him through dinner since he wanted to sit in on the action.

3 Months

3 Months!

Better late than never. Evan did much better with pictures this month, he loved them! I had wayyyy too many smiling pictures to choose from. what a nice problem to have.
