Childrens Hospital

Childrens Hospital

Today I had to take Evan to Childrens Hospital for a hip sono.  This is routine for all babies born breach.  Evan was super cooperative and it only took about 15 minutes.  I was very impressed by the hospital - bright colors, whimsical, clean, easy check-in and very friendly staff.  The hospital had this awesome train room that I had to stop by on our way out.

(June 12 - 25)

Evan had the pleasure of meeting his Grandma Karen and Grandpa Mike this week.  Mike and I had the pleasure of more help!!  Which I was especially thankful for when Mike was gone for 3 days in Flagstaff for a wedding.

Evan doesn't play favorites.  He will sleep on anyone who lets him
Grandma Karen took Evan for walks every day

Notice Evan with the wide smile with the Blackhawks game on the TV.  This was moments after the Hawks scored!!!

First Smiles

Sunday June 7th
Today Evan smiled at us!  He's smiled before with his mouth closed but his eyes are normally closed and it usually was after eating.  Today Evan gave us large, big open mouth smiles.  In the last week we've started to see a lot more of his personality.  He is staying awake a lot more and really focusing on us.  Can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring.

One Month!!

June 5, 2015
I can't believe Evan is one month already.  Time has flown by.

No pillow will keep me sitting up

How many hands does it take to prop up a 1 month old?

I'm almost as tall as the flower
